SMT Custom Clubs
We will tweak your driver by upgrading your present shaft, or lengthening your existing shaft if appropriate, and repositioning weight on
the heel of the club to encourage a draw bias. Basically he will add a lot of goodies that will work in your favor.
As a certified master club maker with over 30 years experience, Jason Denaro has distinguished himself as one of the nations most highly
respected club builders. In fact, he has built drivers for competitors in the PLDA (Professional Long Drive Association) and has successfully
combined the most explosive driver heads with the most reactive shafts including Acura, Accra, Fujikura, Harrison and Mitsubishi Rayon resulting
in the absolute maximum yardage possible for the individual golfers swing.
While attending the school you will be instructed in playing the sixty degree FLOP SHOT, a great weapon in all golfer's arsenal. This shot floats
the ball high and lands it softly by the pin. To play this particular shot as you see the tour pro's play it, you need your sixty degree wedge to have
a tour grind heel, after day one of your school, We will tour grind your
lob-wedge for a minimum fee. This process takes one hour and your great new wedge will be ready for use on day two of your school.
We can also re-grip your clubs with any of our range of top line grips, including our proprietary reminder-rib full cord grip. Your clubs will ready
for your use on day two.
Custom SMT clubs are available only to golfers attending

For those interested in LONG DRIVE, we specialize in building SMT drivers to suit. Special LONG DRIVE shafts are available up to a total installed
length of 50". Driver heads for LONG DRIVE competitors are available in lofts from 6 degrees through 12 degrees. The cost of a custom club will be
determined by the shaft and heads selected.

SMT Spectrum |
After 13 months on the design table, SMT shocked the World with the Spectrum. The first-ever full 3-sided wrap around soleplate design
on the market. This was designed for the most efficient transfer of power possible. SMT wanted the ball to leave the clubface as quickly as possible,
and to feel and look like nothing that has ever been done before and they got it right. Due to the manufacturing process it is almost impossible to
have a soleplate that covers three distinctive sides of the head. Sole, back-skirt and crown. It takes on special meaning since SMT heads are made
differently than all other heads.
The unique design afforded SMT the luxury of both deepening the center of gravity and, at the same time, raising it. This produced the best of
both worlds. Amazingly solid feel at impact and a trajectory that is not too high to promote roll. SMT’s designers have not been this excited about any
head as about the Spectrum in the past 26 years!
The see through black color gives the Spectrum instant recognition as a winner. It was the longest driver on any PGA Tour with a Tour Driving
Distance Record of 429 yards. It was also the 2005 New Zealand Long Drive Champion. We can build your custom SMT distance driver using the most

The lower center of gravity from a slightly deeper than standard head design gives your club the solid feel that you desire while still affording you
the most forgiving head in our lineup. The lack of score lines on the face will make your playing partners stand up and take notice. This design is one of
function, not fashion. SMT’s goal is to make all of our heads play as close to the .830 USGA allowance, and that called for a very thin face. So thin, that
if SMT were to score the face in a traditional manner, it would weaken the structure of the head and compromise structural integrity and SMT quality
standards.
The 455 is a favorite of those looking for the most forgiveness in their club while still looking for a slightly higher than standard trajectory. |
