Jason:
I cannot thank you enough for the two days of fabulous short game instruction.
When we first spoke I told you that the bane of my game was pitching and
chipping, and I don't think I disappointed you in that regard when we
finally got together. With some refinements in my swing and a positive
approach to hitting the pitch, I started hitting the shot better and with
more confindence than I ever have. And how bad was my chipping around
the green on the first day? You taught me your ski position technique,
and as with anything you first learn, it was difficult to adjust to as
evidenced with how I struggled the first day, and again on our round on
the 18 hole par 3 course the second day. But back we went to the
practice green where for another hour we concentrated on chips of varying
lengths, and slowly but surely I was making better contact and putting
the ball closer to the hole. I left to go home after our second day feeling
exhilerated and confident that it was only a matter of time before I was
going to knock eight strokes off my game. Funny thing. I told you I was
going home because I was exhausted. Well not so. I drove directly to my
practice course and set up shop around the chipping green. I spent about
another hour chipping with my nine iron and sand wedge from different
areas. You would not believe what was happening. I was consistently putting
the ball within 2-4 ft. of the hole. Even sunk a few. Right after that,
I went and hit a small bucket, just using my sand wedge and nine iron.
Althugh exhausted, I felt so relaxed. Utilizing your swing refinements
and pre-shot routine, I was effortlessly hitting my nine iron 125-130
yards. I have never hit that club more that 115 yds. There was one gentleman
hitting to the right of me, and struggling I might add, who had watched
me chip and then hit some balls, and as I walked off I said to him "practice,
practice, practice." His comment to me was, they way you were chipping
and hitting that ball, doesn't look like you need much practice." What
a feeling. My head was in the clouds. I told him I had just returned from
your school, explained what went on in detail, and gave him your card.
Jason, I know this is lengthy, but I can't thank you enough for your
dedication and patience. I am certain that in a reasonably short period
of time, I will have my 19 handicap down at least eight strokes. By the
way, I love the clubs, especially the 64 degree wedge. As soon as I finish
this e-mail, it's back out to the practice range, for more short game
work. I will stay in touch mate.

| Hi Jason,
I am reporting on dramatic improvements in my golf game. Since your instruction
in May, I have played often and gradually things have come together! I
can really "grip it and rip it"!!

| Jason,
After attending your four day school I left feeling so confident about
my game. You have helped me understand and appreciate the importance of
the mental approach to this game. It was truly amazing to go to the golf
course, use the focusing and powerful visualization steps you teach. To
look up and see a good results is sure a great feeling. I also like the
way you teach each person individually. You try and refine the players
swing to their needs. You gave me some helpful tips to inhance my swing
and what a difference in ball contact and flight. If anyone wants to elevate
their game to the next level they should consider your school. Thanks
Jason and I will keep you in touch with my progress.

| Dr. Jas,
Just a"short" note to honor my word that I'd send a Testimonial. You agreed
to put it on your site even if it was NOT flattering. So you'd better
stick to your word Doc, 'cause here it comes.
When I first arrived at the School I guess I was expecting
something out of " Caddy Shack", as it turned out you were far more personable,
almost as entertaining, a lot less explosive, but most importantly you
turned out to be one of the truely greatest communicators of the golf
game that I have encountered.
I watch the Golf Chanel almost daily, and at no time have
I seen an Instructor that can deliver the "feeling" of positions during
crucial moves in the swing. Then you went even one better and totaly unlocked
my mental inhibitions (or limitations) that have kept me thinking that
my game had ALREADY peaked. You really have the pre-shot routine down
!!! Somewhere, somehow you reached inside of me and extracted the best
player my mind and body could produce. You really DRAGGED the player that
I could be out of my "doubting mind ". I am still having trouble believing
that I am performing as well as I now am. I have enclosed the names of
a few playing associates, they are in awe of my new found game. ( and
tired of losing money to me each week - in fact they have already paid
me almost what I paid for the 3 day school !!)
Doc, if you can find time in your schedule during November to accomodate
them, I will consider this a personal favor. You know I really owe you
....but don't tell them all of the secret little tricks that you shared
with me.
PS. Finished reading the copy of your book. Seems you could have added
a lot more, although it was easy reading...about 3 hours. You really get
your points through. I probably enjoyed it all the more for having spent
3 days with you( and a heap of laughs) Had a few good laughs reading the
book at some of your Aussie sense of humor too !!
PPS...dropped my index from 12.7 to 7.5 !!!!!!!
Your friend always,

| Dr. Jay,
Thank you for your absolute hospitality during our 3 day stay at your
School last month. Even though I am still struggling a little with my
long irons, I have to tell you that I have NEVER seen any professional
repeatedly place a ball within one club length of the pin as often as
you did from any position inside of 10 yds off the green. Your unique
ski position chipping shot is worth the cost of the School on its own.
I had 8 one putt greens in my last round and came in 12 shots better than
my previous best. Doc, I have attended many "big name" schools in the
past, some based in California and Las Vegas, some in Florida, but their
instructors and techniques pale into insignificance compared to you. I
know most of your students insist on having YOU personally instruct them,
unfortunately this is the price of possessing such a rare skill as yours.
You are one in a million and most assuredly one of the U.S.A.'s top ten
Instructors. Margaret and I both look forward to joining you again next
spring and will book early, as we know YOU are going to be a very much
in demand Instructor. Hope you give preferal bookings to alumni students.
God bless and take care of that shoulder.

| Hey Dr. J.....
I have had more sub-80 rounds in the last month than I have had in my
entire thirty years of playing golf. Handicap went from 13.7 to 11.7 --Playing
in the heat is tough - I have to start getting into better shape! :)
I had the greatest compliment the other day - I was playing with this
guy -- a really good golfer -- he is a 4 handicap -- at Rancho Park. I
shot a 79 - and I hung with this guy -- shot for shot -- for holes 13
- 18. I birdied 17 and 18 - and walking up the 18th fairway -- he turns
to me and says:
"You know -- you are a really good shot maker - keep it up!"
WOW! That's the first time that ever happened to me! It was like..."ME??
a good golfer??" Then it dawned on me - what you taught - the mental attitude!
Of course I am!!! And I'm only going to get better!
As always - thanks for the forum!

| Jason,
I apologize for the delay in writing to you. I wanted to play a while
before I wrote to you, so I could compare my pre and post class performances.
Not only did I really enjoy the golf school, I believe that the few days
that I spent with you has significantly improved my golf game.
The guys I play with every week were giving me a hard time when I came
back, questioning whether the time I spent with your lessons would actually
pay off. Well, after beating them two weeks in a row, I was the one who
had the last laugh.
My ball striking has improved over 100%. The analysis and fine tuning
you did on my swing was invaluable. You pointed out about a half dozen
flaws and gave me ways to correct them. These adjustments have made my
swing much more consistent, so now I play with much more confidence.
And, this brings me to perhaps the most important aspect of the benefits
I've gained from your school. My mental approach to the game has gained
quite a bit of ammunition. You gave me fundamentally sound ways to approach
specifics shots, approaches to greens, techniques for analyzing a hole,
and strategies for playing a course. These analytical and systematic methods
for preparing for and playing the game have made me a more mentally comfortable
player.
P.S. Thanks for re-gripping my putter. I loved the grip so much, I had
all my irons re-gripped with the same grip. I wonder if my bubble-shafted
woods can be done similarly.

| Hey Jason!
I want to tell you that your golf school was a terrific centerpiece for
our vacation. Alex and I will have great memories and golf skills to carry
with us for as long as we live.
What I especially liked was that you were willing (and quite able) to
tailor our golf school experience to suit our two very different needs
(a 48 yr old back in rehab!, and 13 yr old with no fear and a REAL golf
swing!) and create an environment that was challenging and enjoyable.
Of course to do this one-on-two with us privately was the ultimate.
Alex loved the clubhouse restaurant, of course. I think he gained a few
(needed) pounds.
We were out to the range the other day and we were quizzing each other
on our practice routines. We hadn't picked up a club in 2 weeks but in
just about 10 minutes we we both re-grooved in our swings. What a relief!
There were so many things that made it a dream vacation for a father &
son. Facing your golf school test was great. (I know you could have
easily worked us harder.) But of course we had more: the SD Zoo, the souvenir
putters, smimming to get the kinks out every night. It was fabulous! (If
it weren't for the Jaccuzzi at night, I could not have taken a swing the
next day.)
Jason, you are very good at what you do. Carry on my friend! I hope to
see you again before too long.
